draw.
in front of some great artwork,
if I do say so myself.
my sister has most of the art talent in the family
but apparently I was able to scrap the sides of the bowl
to get enough to produce this masterpiece.
does it have a story?
you must be new here,
because there is always a story.
I have a morning coffee walk date with
a friend/co worker, and for the sake of protecting
the (not so) innocent, we will call her Ro,
most days, usually before I start work
as I need a caffiene fix, STAT, most mornings!
today was no different, caffiene was the
first thing on my to do list
but Ro needed FIVE MINUTES
to finish something up so I started up my computer
and did a few things and 15 minutes later I send her a
message to see if she is ready…no response.
30 minutes later I send another, more desperate message…no response.
12 FIVE minutes later she comes by to
put me out of my no caffiene misery.
whewf.
however as I was waiting for her
and getting continually antsy I created a little
art for her cubicle to remind her of the importance
of getting me caffienated as soon as possible!

my name is dee-ann…
photographer. change agent. believer. dreamer. storyteller.
oh yeah, I also like chocolate cake.
my one little word for 2013 is “zoom”
why?
I need to remember to ZOOM in (the details) and ZOOM out (the big picture).
remember to:
ZOOM in when I spend time with my family
ZOOM out and remember my larger communityZOOM in when I make environmental choices at home
ZOOM out and remember the larger life systems that I am trying to protect and even though the details at home are important I need to go further and look at the larger picture.ZOOM in when I am immersed in my day to day
ZOOM out and reflect on what is happening in the worldZOOM in when solving an issue and look at the details
ZOOM out and analyze the impact the solution has on the larger scale.as well, it will reminds me to keep moving, zoom zoom.

No bombs were been dodged during this time! Lol!
yes very true and an important point but now we know, I would be cranky while diving bombs AND I am cranky being non-caffienated!
Just kidding, my lack of caffiene is very insignifigant in the larger picture but you did get a fine piece of artwork out of it!
Tee hee hee! This is pure art and the message is very true.
