mostly it is entertaining,
but at times scary as he jumps off a wall,
or flips through the air.
he loves this though,
and works up quite a sweat,
which sometimes will lead to a painless (for me) bedtime.
on Saturday, I watched him scale two retaining walls,
so I guess he is taking away some (useful?) skills!
I personally think this will help his football career
as he is certainly learning how to flip over and around objects
so the other team’s defense better be ready as Kaeden may just
dazzle with his ability to leap over them and leave them at the line.
my name is dee-ann…
photographer. change agent. believer. dreamer. storyteller.
oh yeah, I also like chocolate cake.
my one little word for 2013 is “zoom”
I need to remember to ZOOM in (the details) and ZOOM out (the big picture).
ZOOM in when I spend time with my family
ZOOM out and remember my larger community
ZOOM in when I make environmental choices at home
ZOOM out and remember the larger life systems that I am trying to protect and even though the details at home are important I need to go further and look at the larger picture.
ZOOM in when I am immersed in my day to day
ZOOM out and reflect on what is happening in the world
ZOOM in when solving an issue and look at the details
ZOOM out and analyze the impact the solution has on the larger scale.
as well, it will reminds me to keep moving, zoom zoom.
